हरियाणा के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री पंकज अग्रवाल ने बताया कि 5 अक्तूबर को होने वाले 15वीं हरियाणा विधानसभा के आम चुनाव-2024 में हरियाणा मतदाता वोटर कार्ड के बिना भी मतदान कर सकते हैं, शर्त रहेगी कि उसको चुनाव आयोग दर्शाए गए किन्हीं अन्य पहचान पत्रों को मतदान केंद्र पर दिखाना होगा। इसके अलावा चुनाव आयोग ने मतदान केंद्र पर मोबाइल फोन सहित अन्य डिवाइस ले जाने पर पाबंदी लगाई है।
हरियाणा में आज होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव में हरियाणा के 2,03,54,350 मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग कर सकेंगे। प्रदेश के सभी 90 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में कुल 1031 उम्मीदवार चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि मतदान के लिए प्रदेश में 20,632 पोलिंग बूथ बनाएं गए हैं। मतदान 5 अक्तूबर को सुबह 7 बजे से सायं 6 बजे तक होगा।
उन्होंने सभी मतदाताओं से अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने की अपील की है। मतदाता यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि उसका नाम मतदाता सूची में अवश्य शामिल हो। श्री पंकज अग्रवाल ने कहा कि किसी मतदाता का नाम मतदाता सूची में है, लेकिन उसके पास मतदाता पहचान पत्र नहीं है तो वह भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित 12 वैकल्पिक पहचान पत्र में से कोई भी पहचान पत्र दिखाकर अपना वोट डाल सकता है।
इन दस्तावेजों में आधार कार्ड, मनरेगा जॉब कार्ड, बैंक या डाकघर द्वारा जारी फोटोयुक्त पासबुक, श्रम मंत्रालय की योजना के तहत जारी स्वास्थ्य बीमा स्मार्ट कार्ड, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, पैन कार्ड, राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या रजिस्टर (एनपीआर) के तहत आरजीआई द्वारा जारी स्मार्ट कार्ड, भारतीय पासपोर्ट, फोटोयुक्त पेंशन दस्तावेज, केंद्रीय/राज्य सरकार/सार्वजनिक उपक्रमों या सार्वजनिक लिमिटेड कंपनियों द्वारा कर्मचारियों को जारी किए गए फोटोयुक्त सेवा पहचान पत्र, सांसदों/विधायकों/एमएलसी को जारी किए गए आधिकारिक पहचान पत्र और विशिष्ट दिव्यांगता पहचान पत्र शामिल हैं।

Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana, Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal informed that 2,03,54,350 voters of the state will be able to exercise their franchise in the 15th Haryana Legislative Assembly General Elections-2024 to be held on October 5. A total of 1031 candidates are contesting elections in all 90 assembly constituencies of the state. He informed that 20,632 polling booths have been set up in the state for voting. Voting will be held on October 5 from 7 am to 6 pm.
He has appealed to all the voters to exercise their franchise. Voters should ensure that their name is included in the voter list. Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal said that if the name of a voter is in the voter list, but he does not have a voter ID card, then he can cast his vote by showing any of the 12 alternative identity cards prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
These documents include Aadhaar Card, MNREGA Job Card, Passbook with Photo issued by Bank or Post Office, Health Insurance Smart Card issued under Labour Ministry Scheme, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Smart Card issued by RGI under National Population Register (NPR), Indian Passport, Pension Documents with Photo, Service Identity Card with Photo issued to employees by Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings or Public Limited Companies, Official Identity Card issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs and Unique Disability Identity Card.
